Breast feeding is always the best for baby. While we embrace breast feeding, there are mothers who, for many reasons, are unable to breast feed. Bottle feeding becomes the second best choice. We are concern about the quality of the content, the nutrient in the infant formula that our babies are fed on. Should we as parents also pay attention to the bottles that we use to feed our babies? Are these bottles safe?

It is well known now that feeding bottles, sipping cups, utensils made of polycarbonate (PC) are harmful to our health, especially babies’. PC is made up of blocks of Bisphenol –A (BPA). BPA could migrate into food and it is hazardous to health. BPA is a hormone disruptor, a developmental, neurological and reproductive toxic. Canada became the first country to ban BPA in baby bottles. San Francisco is the first state in US to ban PC bottle. While there is lack of such regulation in where we are, we as parents should arm ourselves with such knowledge to provide the best for our love ones.
